Diner from the 80s vibes with good food and service to take care of 8 people in our group easily. Really friendly staff and options on the menu available for all tastes. If we were in the area would definitely stop by again.

Best Breakfast We’ve Ever Had! We drove over an hour to eat at this adorable little diner, and it was absolutely worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we’ve ever had! I ordered the Cakes and Eggs breakfast but subbed in French toast instead of pancakes, and let me tell you—the French toast was unbelievably fluffy and delicious, and my eggs were cooked perfectly just the way I like them. Not a single thing I’d change. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles with a double hashbrown on the side. His waffle was also super fluffy, the hashbrowns were amazing—crispy, golden, and flavorful—and the chicken was hot, crispy, and seasoned to absolute perfection. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of personality. Our server, Mrs. Lara, was the sweetest lady—so friendly and attentive. We were shocked by how fast the food came out, and it was clearly made fresh to order. To top it off, we had a little drink mishap when my boyfriend accidentally spilled his drink. Without hesitation, the staff brought him a brand new chicken and waffles meal just in case any of the drink had touched the food and even offered to move us to a different table. His replacement food was out in less than 10 minutes, fresh off the grill! We also noticed how efficiently they were cleaning and resetting tables right after guests left—super impressive and shows how much pride they take in running a clean, welcoming place. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly, highly recommend this golden gem!

I loved that old timey feel! The shrimp salad was so good! My handsome tour guide got the steak meal, I'm so glad he brought me here instead of Denny's

Let's start with the wonderful customer service. She was attentive fast and stayed on top of everything even with all the tables she had. Next is the portions they give you. Please bring you appetite. The good was great. Heading back soon to try something else.

We’ve driven past Big Easy Diner in Slidell so many times and never thought to stop, until we got tired of the same old all-night breakfast spots. Well, I’m so glad we gave it a chance because it was fantastic! The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The cook, clearly a seasoned pro, cooked with “ole school” love and brought that perfect touch only our older population can give. And Sandra, our server, showed us the true Slidell-style Southern Hospitality; top tier all the way! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Big Easy Diner was a unique kind of diner. The interior is very well decorated like a 50s diner and very clean. This place is super busy and the wait staff are super polite, courteous and professional! There is plenty to choose from their menu to eat. I highly recommend this location for your next meal.

I dropped by this diner and had an enjoyable breakfast experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was prompt and friendly—we were seated right away and able to place our order quickly. I went with a classic breakfast of sunny side up eggs, corned beef hash, and biscuits with gravy, and everything was cooked just right. The eggs were perfectly runny, the hash was flavorful, and the biscuits were warm and hearty with just the right amount of savory gravy. It was a simple meal, but done exceptionally well. If you’re passing through on a road trip and looking for a quick, delicious, and satisfying breakfast this place is worth the stop.
